Nyrah Beauty is now Guaranteed Irish. Officially. 🎉
I got a little emotional when we heard, and I want to tell you what it means, why it matters to us, and why it matters to you.
What is Guaranteed Irish accreditation?
Guaranteed Irish is the national symbol of trust and provenance for businesses in Ireland. It has been awarded for over 50 years. A business only receives it after an independent assessment across three criteria: supporting Irish jobs, contributing to the community, and genuine Irish provenance. More than 2,500 businesses currently hold the symbol, and together they employ over 150,000 people.
So no, it isn't something you can just print on a box. Someone actually checks you first, and only the businesses that pass are allowed to carry that little green mark. When I found out we'd earned our place among names I've admired for years, honestly, it meant the world. ✨
Nyrah Beauty was assessed on jobs, community, and Irish provenance, and we are now listed in the public Guaranteed Irish directory.
If you're ever curious, you can look us up in the directory yourself and see us sitting right there. We've said from day one that we're Irish through and through, and now there's a national symbol that says the very same thing. 💚
Why does the accreditation matter for Nyrah Beauty?
The Guaranteed Irish symbol confirms that Nyrah Beauty is a genuinely Irish business, independently verified. It recognises brands that create Irish jobs, support their communities, and are honest about where they come from.
These are the exact things we've cared about since the start. You might know the story... back in 2020, a few of us stood in a pharmacy aisle, tired and a bit invisible, looking at shelves that only ever said anti-this and anti-that. So we built Nyrah instead. Made here at home, plant-based, and rooted in Irish science, with my own engineering and pharma background behind every formula. This symbol feels like someone official turning round and saying, "yes, you're the real thing."
Why does it matter for you, our beloved customers?
