BRIGHTEN, HYDRATE & SHIELD YOUR SKIN FROM SUN DAMAGE & AGING CONCERNS
You get hydration, brightness, sun protection and pro-aging benefits in one serum that fits effortlessly into your morning skincare routine as the last step.

One Step to Keep Your Skin
Bright, Youthful & Protected
Even on Cloudy Irish Days
Keeps your skin safe from UVA (sun burn/damage) and from UVB rays (early signs of aging like pigmentation, fine lines and loss of brightness) with broad spectrum SPF30.
Lumina is a serum, not a thick cream - so it doesn't block pores, leave a greasy residue or pill under makeup like regular sun creams.
Contains the new ingredient Astaxanthin, which brightens your skin 6000x times more than regular Vitamin C.
Fits easily in as the last step of any morning routine before makeup, making applying skin-saving SPF sun protection your daily habit.
This first of its kind formula deeply hydrates dry skin, brightens dullness and protects, all in one simple step.

A note from the founder
'The missing step in your skincare routine'
This is probably the most important note I'm ever likely to write on our website. Skin cancer is now the most diagnosed cancer in Ireland, with over 11,000 new cases every year . Nine out of ten of those are caused by UV rays, whether from the sun or tanning beds .
If you’ve ever used a tanning bed before age 35, your melanoma risk jumps by about 60–75%, and a worrying study even found that 97% of women diagnosed under 30 had used them . That number gave me real pause - I hope it does for you, too.
Here’s something else that may surpirse you: up to 80% of facial ageing - like those fine lines, pigmentation, and texture loss - is down to UV exposure . Sun protection isn't about vanity, though - it’s about looking after yourself, so your skin feels as good as it looks.
So here’s what I do, and what I want for you:
No sunbeds - they’re just not worth the risk.
Every day, regardless of clouds, apply a broad‑spectrum minimum SPF 30+ sunscreen. It’s simple, protective and the perfect marriage between sun protection and skincare.
I created Lumina with that in mind. It’s a way to make sun protection feel like something you want to do - not something you have to. When it feels good to use, it becomes a habit.. and this is certainly a habit worth taking up.

Our delivery takes 2-5 working days depending on the volume of orders that we're currently receiving. We use An Post to deliver within Ireland and Royal Mail to deliver within the United Kingdom.
Most traditional sunscreens are mineral-based - using zinc oxide or titanium dioxide - which form a white, reflective layer on the skin to block UV radiation, but these are thick and can block pores. Modern formulations like Lumina now use ultra-fine (micronized or nano-sized) minerals to minimize this white cast, and they blend seamlessly with your skin tone, offering sun protection without the chalky look .
Yes! If you’re not already wearing SPF, adding Nyrah’s is essential. We designed it as the most crucial daily skincare step, providing broad-spectrum protection in a formula that feels like skincare, not a sunblock.
Daily urban defence + antioxidant power = complete protection.
SPF 30 blocks ~97% of UVB rays, while SPF 50 blocks ~98%. Combined with powerhouse antioxidants like Astaxanthin, Lumina offers broad-spectrum protection without relying on heavy filters: making it ideal for daily wear.
Dermatologists recommend a minimum of SPF 30 for adults to effectively shield against UVA and UVB damage.
Astaxanthin is a lightweight hero antioxidant derived from microalgae; claimed to be as much as 6,000× more powerful than vitamin C; that works deep within the skin to visibly reduce fine lines, dark spots, UV damage, and boost hydration, elasticity, and tone. It’s the same pigment that gives flamingos and salmon their pink hue, adding luminous strength to your skin . As one skincare expert puts it, “If you’re serious about antioxidant skincare, Astaxanthin deserves a front‑row seat in your routine.”
No makeup pigments. Lumina subtly balances your skin tone with a healthy, sun-kissed finish; not a self-tanner, not a tint, just pure radiance
To get the full benefit of your SPF, use the “two-finger” method; about ¼ teaspoon across your index and middle fingers; to cover your face and neck, or follow the ⅓-teaspoon rule to ensure enough product, because “the best SPF is the one you’ll use every day.”
Lumina is your final step in the morning. Think of it as your skin’s invisible shield; locking in your ritual and protecting against daily UV and environmental stressors. It fits right in at the end of every morning Nyrah routine and works beautifully under makeup.
Yes, Lumina is designed for daily AM use. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin and effective enough to protect and enhance your skin every single day.
Lumina is purpose-built with both performance and purity at its core. It’s completely water‑free and preservative‑free, ensuring a stable, potent formula that’s gentle and minimises irritation. The powerful antioxidant astaxanthin comes from microalgae, making the serum vegan, while strict standards mean it’s entirely cruelty‑free; never tested on animals. And it’s gluten‑free, so it suits even those with sensitivities.
Yes; it has a soft, natural fragrance with notes of apricot, vanilla, and citrus. It’s subtle and uplifting, and free from heavy synthetic perfumes; making it safe for use with hormonal/reactive skin. Always patch test.

This an official rating - It means Lumina doesn’t just protect against burning (UVB) — it also helps prevent the deeper skin damage caused by UVA rays, which are present year-round in Ireland. A 4-star rating is considered very high protection.
• UVA (Ultraviolet A)
These long-wavelength rays (315–400 nm) make up about 95% of UV exposure at the Earth’s surface .
They penetrate deep into the skin, contributing to collagen breakdown, wrinkles, pigmentation, and indirect DNA damage.
• UVB (Ultraviolet B)
With a shorter wavelength (280–315 nm), UVB is strongest during summer and in direct sun, and is mostly absorbed by the epidermis .
It causes sunburn, surface cell damage, and is directly linked to DNA mutations and skin cancer.
